12th June 2010 - Podium finish at Killarney Triathlon

Killarney town had it’s first Triathlon last weekend with it’s inaugural race being held in and around the famous Muckross grounds.  The 750m swim took place in Muckross lake with the 20k cycle through and around Killarney town with the 5k run through Killarney National park and finishing at Muckross house.  There was no shortage of fabulous scenery to take your mind off the race. 

Michael Moloney and Siobhán Dunphy were our only 2 competitors here with both having an excellent race.  Michael finished 7^th overall in 1.15.10 with Siobhán going on to win the ladies race to finish 20^th overall in 1.24.34.
